How to Use an Amazon Hub Locker
An Amazon Hub Locker is a delivery destination, not a service you subscribe to. You send the parcel to the locker, it waits there, and you collect it with a code. No garage, no front door, and nothing on your porch. For an apartment or a home with a visible doorstep, it is often the simplest answer.

What a locker actually is
A secure set of compartments at a public location, used as the delivery address for an order. What matters is that you choose it at checkout, per order, rather than as a permanent setting. The parcel goes where you point it, one order at a time.
Which lockers exist near you, and their hours, are set by Amazon and change as locations open and close. The in-app map is the current one, not a list on a page.
How to send an order to one
At checkout, choose the locker as the destination, if one is offered for your order. Not every item fits, and the sizes accepted are set by the locker rather than by you. A locker is a great fit for small parcels and the wrong one for a mattress.
Once it is chosen, the rest is ordinary delivery. Speed works the same way, which is the delivery speeds guide territory, and the change is only the destination.
Collecting it
When the parcel is ready you get a barcode or a code, and you use it at the locker. The window to collect is set by Amazon, and the code is what opens the door. If you miss the window, what happens next is stated in the notification rather than guessed.
The one habit is to keep the code where you can find it. That small administrative step is the entire difference between a locker that helps and a locker that traps a parcel you have to chase.
Buy it if a locker is near you and your parcels are small enough to fit.
Skip it if the nearest locker is a trip you will not make. Off the porch is only useful if collection is easy.
