Trial terms change, and they can differ between the standard sign-up and the program path. A number copied here would be wrong for someone, and wrong in a way that costs money at the end of the window.
So read the number on the screen where you accept the offer. That version is the one Amazon will hold you to, and it is the only one worth trusting.
What the trial does and does not change
- Does change: when the billing starts, if a trial is included in your offer.
- Does not change: the verification requirement, which still applies.
- Does not change: the benefits, which are the full membership either way.
- Does not change: your duty to note the billing date.
A trial moves the clock. It does not remove the gate. Eligibility and verification still have to be satisfied, and the trial only affects the timing of the first charge.

Note the billing date the moment the membership is active, and set your own reminder for the day before it. That habit is the difference between a trial you chose and a charge you did not.
