If You Cancel a Prime Trial, Do You Keep the Benefits Until the End?

Renewal versus access
Those are the two clocks. The renewal is the switch that turns a free trial into a paid Prime membership. Access is the benefits themselves: fast delivery, Prime Video, and the rest.
Cancelling flips the first switch and leaves the second running for a while. The length of that while is not a rule you can memorise, which is why the date on your own account is the only version worth trusting.
Here is the part nobody says out loud. Access is not revoked by a click, only by a date. It runs to a date, and that date is the one to plan around.
What stops at the end date
- Member pricing, including deal events, once the membership ends.
- Membership delivery benefits, which revert to the standard terms for everyone.
- Member only content in streaming and reading, which stays locked to the membership.
What does not stop is anything you already bought. Deals you shopped during the trial stay yours, and so does everything already in your library or on its way.
Planning around the end date
If a purchase or an event depends on member pricing, check the end date before you cancel, not after. A membership that stops one day early is a full price purchase you did not plan for.
