The part nobody says out loud. The two models are not better or worse. They are shaped for different baskets, and yours is one of them.
- Store network delivery: the goods come from a store near you, so what fills the van is what the store carries.
- Catalog and grocery services: the goods come from a logistics system, with grocery offerings where the service runs.
- Both carry minimums and fees, and both change them, which is why the cart is the only honest quote.
The models are not better or worse. They are shaped for different baskets. One suits a weekly stand-in for a store trip, and the other suits a list that mixes groceries with everything else.
The weekly list test
Take last week’s shopping. Count how much of it came from one store, and how much of it was things you would order from anywhere. If most of it is one store, a store delivery membership is the natural fit. If it is a mixed list, the catalog side has more surface to work on.

A store delivery plan lands for a household that shops the same store weekly and wants the trip removed. A catalog membership lands for a household whose shopping is varied and whose groceries are one thread in it.
Ask which chore you are trying to delete. The membership that deletes the chore you actually have is the cheaper one, whatever the two price tags say, and each retailer publishes its own current numbers for you to check.
Buy it if your grocery list is mixed and the grocery service operates in your area.
