Timing it without paying for a month you did not want
- Cancel before your billing date, not before the event ends, if your goal is to avoid the next charge.
- Confirm the end date Amazon shows you after cancelling. That date is the answer, not an assumption.
- Keep the reminder you set in your own calendar. Do not rely on a marketing email.
There is one honest caveat. If you cancel and your access ends before October 7, you are outside the event and the prices go back up. Ending the membership mid-event is possible and it is also a bad trade.
