Trial terms are set per offer, and the student path can carry different terms from the standard sign-up. They also change. So the only version that binds is the one on the screen where you accept the offer.
That is not evasion. It is the accurate answer. Anyone quoting a precise length is either quoting an old offer or guessing at a current one, and the source of that number is the same screen you were avoiding.
What to do at the screen
- Read the length before you accept, not after.
- Count forward to the date you actually care about, like a term start or a sale event.
- Write the billing date down the moment the membership is active.
- Set your own reminder for the day before it.
