Business Prime
Business Prime Spending Analytics
This is the feature a household plan has no reason to offer. Spending analytics turns order history into something a business can use: who spent, on what, and under which cost centre. Whether your tier includes it depends on the plan, and the current feature set is Amazon’s to publish.

What reporting is actually for
The part nobody says out loud. Reporting is not a shopping benefit. It is a paperwork benefit, and it earns its place by deleting hours.
- Control, so spend is attributable to a person or a team.
- Budgeting, so a category can be watched rather than guessed at.
- Tax time, so the receipts already exist somewhere findable.
- Approvals, where the tier supports them, so spend stops before it happens.
Notice that none of those is a shopping benefit. Reporting is an accounting feature wearing a retail costume, and it is only worth paying for when you would otherwise be doing that work by hand.
Why it depends on the tier
Business Prime is tiered by users and controls, and reporting grows with those tiers. A single user plan has little to report, since there is only one spender. A team plan has plenty, and the value of the analytics rises with the number of people buying.
So the honest rule is simple. The reporting is worth what the alternative costs you in time. If one person buys occasionally, a spreadsheet is fine. If several people buy weekly, a report beats the spreadsheet by a wide margin.
How to evaluate it before you pay
Ask what you currently do to find spend at the end of a month. If the answer is a manual trawl through statements, the analytics are replacing real hours. If the answer is nothing, you are buying a dashboard nobody opens.
That is the whole evaluation, and it is the evaluation every business tool deserves. A report earns its place by deleting a chore, not by existing. Read the current feature list, then decide on your own routine rather than on the feature names.
Buy it if several people buy, or you currently reconcile spend by hand.
Skip it if you are the only buyer and your receipts take five minutes. Analytics for a business with nothing to analyse is a dashboard with no readers.
Read the whole comparison in the Business Prime guide, and judge the household plan at is Prime worth it.
