Alexa+ and Prime: What Is Included
Amazon states that Alexa+ is included with Prime. That makes it one of the freshest benefits in the bundle and one of the narrowest. It is valuable to a household that already lives with Alexa, and close to invisible to a household that does not.

What the inclusion means
Worth naming plainly. A free upgrade to hardware you do not own is not a benefit you have. It is a footnote on a list.
It means the more capable assistant tier arrives with your membership rather than as a separate line item, for accounts and devices where it applies. The features, the device support, and the terms are all Amazon’s to define, and they are evolving.
So treat this as a perk that came free with something you were buying anyway, not as a reason to buy. That is the right way to value every add on in the bundle, and it is especially true of one this new.
Who it lands for
- Suits: a household with Alexa devices in use, where a smarter assistant changes the daily routine.
- Suits: anyone who bought the devices and never got much from the assistant, since the upgrade may change that.
- Does not suit: a household with no Alexa hardware, where there is nothing to upgrade.
Hardware is the gate. A software upgrade to a device you do not own is not a benefit you have, however many lists it appears on.
How to value it
Score it the way the rest of this bundle is scored. Would you pay for it as a separate subscription, and would you notice if it vanished. For an Alexa household the answer can be yes. For everyone else the honest answer is that it adds a line to the benefit list and nothing to the week.
