Does Prime Cover Prescriptions?
No, and the wording matters. Prime does not pay for your medication the way insurance does. What it offers is a route to fill a prescription and a rate on it, through Amazon Pharmacy and programs like RxPass. Covering and pricing are different jobs, and only one of them belongs to the membership.

What the benefit actually is
A place to send a prescription, a way to have it delivered, and a price that may or may not beat your current one. That is a route and a rate. It is useful, and it is not coverage.
Whether the rate beats what you pay now is decided by your insurance and the program terms, both of which are outside the membership. So the honest test is your own situation, checked against Amazon’s current pages.
What it does not do
It does not list every covered medication, it does not stand in for a doctor, and it does not make an unaffordable drug affordable by itself. A route and a rate can help a lot, and they cannot do the job of a plan.
It also does not replace the advice you get from a pharmacist, which is the part a delivery box cannot replicate. If that matters for a script, the local counter is the right place.
How to check your own
Compare three numbers for the prescriptions you actually fill: what you pay now, what the pharmacy route quotes, and whether a generics add on changes it. The answer is personal, which is why no page can hand it to you.

Skip it if your coverage already does the job. A second route only helps if it is cheaper or easier.
